Session 2: We’re Not Alone – Learning From Other Communities
The second event in the Lunch and Learn Series, held on July 10, 2018, will focus on taking a look at how similar communities to Albion have rebuilt their economies and recreated their identity through social networks. The discussion will focus on how Albion can use similar strategies.
Each event in the Lunch and Learn series will take place at The Office Albion (410 S. Superior St.), from Noon to 1 PM, and includes a boxed lunch provided by the Foundry Bakehouse & Deli, which will include a sandwich, bag of chips, drink and a dessert.
Lunch Options:
Option 1: “Cope”: Turkey Sandwich, cheddar cheese, apple slices, spinach, with herb mayo, on ciabatta
Option 2: “Flask”: Chicken Salad made with celery, walnuts, onions, cranberries and a mayo dressing served on a bun with lettuce.
Option 3: “Bellows”: Veggie sandwich with pesto, roasted red peppers, avocado, sprouts on whole grain.
